NABIP is the leading professional association for health insurance agents, brokers, general agents and consultants. Our members work every day with individuals, families and employers of all sizes to help them purchase health insurance coverage and use that coverage in the best possible way. As a dedicated group of more than 100,000 benefit specialists from across the nation, we advocate on behalf of American health insurance consumers.
On a local level the Central Virginia Chapter of NABIP is very active and involved in healthcare and health insurance reform taking place in Virginia and around the country. I would invite all of you to become involved in the process that may have a direct effect on our industry and our business future.

Virginia State Lobbyist Report
The CVABIP current lobbyist is Christopher West, Partner, Jackson-West Consulting, LLP. The Virginia General Assembly meets annually, beginning on the second Wednesday in January, for 60 days in even-numbered years and for 30 days in odd-numbered years, with an option to extend annual sessions for a maximum of 30 days. Our lobbyist provides a report at conclusion of the session
National PAC
NABIP PAC is the political action committee of NABIP. It is the expression of our First Amendment rights to free speech and association guaranteed under the Constitution. The purpose of the NABIP PAC is to raise funds from NABIP members for the purpose of supporting the political campaigns of candidates who believe in private sector solutions for health and financial security for all Americans.
