About the event
Evelyn D. Reinhart Guest House is located next to Bon Secours St. Mary's Hospital, and provides a home away from home for families who have loved ones admitted at the hospital.
The guest house is a non-profit that features many of the amenities and living spaces of home such as:
- 16 guest rooms with ADA-compliant bathrooms
- Two suites to accommodate larger families
- Living room/library
- Dining room
- Reflection room/chapel
- Kitchen and second kitchenette
- Children’s playroom
- Sunporch
- Auxiliary meeting room
For the last several years CVABIP has provided much needed home cooked dinners to families staying at the Guest House.
On the second Wednesday of each month CVABIP volunteers meet up at the Guest House around 4pm to start meal prep. Each month's menu is coordinated by the CVABIP Volutneer Chairperson and communicated to all other volunteers for that month.
You do not need to have any culinary experience to volunteer, as there are many ways you can help !
